Miracle is the Managing Counsel and the Firm’s Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution; Energy and Natural Resources; and Real Estate practice groups.

He is a Consummate advocate, reputed for his integrity and professional skills in the areas of Dispute Resolution, Energy & Natural Resources, Immigration & Labour,  Real Estate, Telecommunication, Media & Technology, Aviation, amongst others.

Miracle has represented multinational corporations, banks, statutory bodies, Institutions, government agencies, and high net worth individuals on both contentious and non-contentious matters in different courts across the country.

Miracle is an experienced, resourceful and well trained advocate who constantly appears before Nigeria’s superior courts of record and Tribunals including Investments and Securities Tribunal. He has been involved in various litigation matters involving constitutional, electoral, commercial and criminal issues as well as non-litigation and transactional legal matters. He handles debt restructuring and debt recovery transactions on behalf of creditor financial institutions and also debt companies. He is proficient in developing and implementing litigation and trial strategies, and conducting trials in courts. He prepares originating and defense processes, and is equally skilled in the preparation and arguing of contentious applications and brief of arguments at the superior courts of record.

A brief highlight of a few matters handled by him is presented hereunder;

  1. Miracle was pivotal to the recovery of 3 Billion Naira in a highly controversial Capital Market dispute against Keystone Bank Limited. The Judgment was delivered in 2019 by the Investments and Securities Tribunal, Lagos.
  2. Miracle successfully defended Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the election petition brought by Barrister Sopuluchukwu Ezeonwuka before the Panel B of the National Assembly/Legislative Houses Election Petition Tribunal, Awka, Anambra State and thereafter Court of Appeal, Enugu State.
  3. Miracle was part of the team that represented Independent National Electoral Commission from the Federal High Court to the  Supreme Court in the pre-election dispute between Segun Oni v. His Excellency, Kayode Fayemi & 2 other defendants.
  4. Miracle successfully defended Central Bank of Nigeria in the suit filed by Spectrum Wireless Communications Limited against Emerging Markets Telecommunications Limited, Central Bank of Nigeria and 15 other Defendants. The Suit was struck out by the Honourable Court on grounds of jurisdiction, locus standi, abuse of court process, amongst others.
  5. Miracle was among the team that represented Central Bank of Nigeria in a dispute between Incorporated Trustees of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) v. Central Bank of Nigeria & 10 other defendants at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
  6. Miracle successfully defended Independent National Electoral Commission in the suit filed by the Chairman of Mega Party of Nigeria; Pastor Anselem Igbokwe against INEC wherein Pastor Igbokwe challenged his disqualification as the chairman of the Party.
